Hi, I'm Jako Del Bueno 👋🏼

I'm a Spanish artist, illustrator and art educator. I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, but over the years, my work has evolved from digital illustration and concept art towards observational drawing, watercolor and travel sketchbooks.

What interests me most isn't reproducing reality with photographic accuracy. I'm interested in preserving the feeling of having been somewhere—the atmosphere of a place, the way light falls for a brief moment, or how a person transforms the space around them simply by being there.

Alongside my artistic practice, I founded Paper Monsters Academy, where I've had the opportunity to teach thousands of artists from all over the world. I've also collaborated with publishers, creative companies and international brands while continuing to develop my own personal work.
